Common Questions Before You Protect Your Vehicle
Is PPF worth it for my car?
PPF is worth considering if you want to prevent visible road damage, especially on new cars, premium vehicles, highway-driven cars, performance cars, and vehicles you plan to keep long term.
Does ceramic coating stop rock chips?
No. Ceramic coating helps with gloss, water beading, dirt release, and easier cleaning. If your main concern is stone chips or physical paint damage, PPF is the better starting point.
Do I need full-body PPF?
Not always. Many drivers only need front-end or high-impact protection. Full-body PPF is better for premium vehicles, long-term ownership, or for owners who want complete coverage.
What is the difference between clear PPF and Coloured PPF?
Clear PPF protects your paint while keeping the original look of the vehicle. Coloured PPF gives you similar protection while changing the vehicle's colour or finish.
Can I combine PPF and Ceramic Coating?
Yes, ceramic coating can be applied on top of PPF. However, at Project Hiraya, our PPF already has ceramic coating technology built into the film. This means you get the protective benefits of PPF and an easier-to-clean, hydrophobic surface without needing to pay double.
